Why cant data from cockpit voice recorder and flight data recorder be transmitted to a base station?
Flight data recorder and cockpit voice recorder (blackbox) of an aircraft reveal important clues to investigators to find the cause of the accident. But in few accidents, several hours are wasted in identifying these devices and some times it leads to failure. If this data is of such an importance, why can the data be streamed either to satellite or to any ground based station for easier and immediate diagnosis?
